Flags for Heroes

Patriot Day, September 11th

This Patriot Day, the Heart of Virginia Council aims to display over 500 American flags in Midlothian and the Tri-Cities area in honor of local heroes—veterans, first responders, teachers, and more. Each flag represents someone who makes or has made an extraordinary contribution to our community, with personalized recognition. Choose a location to place your hero's flag, and take home their commemorative dog tag. Proceeds support Scouting programs for over 7,400 youth right here in Central Virginia.
