Hello Valley View Families,

We hope you are enjoying your weekend. Students have been working hard on their Forward testing this week and will continue the next couple of weeks as well. To help with consistency and minor disruptions to the testing days, we hope families can hold off on appointments and/or vacations until testing is completed on Friday, April 24th.

Our 5th graders enjoyed their learning experiences at BizTown this past week and 4th graders will be heading to the Milwaukee County Museum on Friday, April 17th.

This week, it is Tornado and Severe Weather Awareness Week, April 13-17, here in Wisconsin. The annual Wisconsin Statewide Tornado Drills will occur on Thursday, April 16 at 1:45 p.m., and 6:45 p.m. We will participate and practice our inclement weather drill here at Valley View on Thursday, 4/17, @ 1:45. This is a great time to discuss with your child(ren) at home on what to do when severe weather is upon us.

It's going to be a great week! Go Valiant Knights!

Respectfully,

Jenni Tamblingson
