Greetings!

Be sure to mark your calendars for two upcoming FIMC-VI webinars that will address statewide assessment for students with visual impairments:

Florida Standards Assessments (FSA) Update
January 7, 2021 | 2:00-3:30 PM EST | Virtual
Join Kathy Kremplewski for an in-depth discussion of changes, preparing your students and what materials you need when testing begins. If you are administering the FSA, especially the braille versions, attend this webinar (or watch the recording)!

Florida Standards Alternate Assessment (FSAA) Update
January 14, 2021 | 2:00-3:30 PM EST | Virtual
This webinar will cover the role of the teacher of students with visual impairments with regards to administering the FSAA. This will include information about accommodations, braille codes, object exchange materials and procedures specific to the braille versions of the FSAA.

After registering, you will receive an email with the webinar link, as well as an email reminder prior to the webinar. If you do not register in advance, you will still be able to register when the webinar starts. If this is your first time to joining us for a webinar, you can log on any time between 1:30 and 2:00 pm (EST) to download Zoom if needed and test your audio settings.

If you cannot join the live webinar, a recorded version will be posted on the Past Events page of our website.

As a reminder, if you have any new teachers in your district, please forward this email to help them get in the loop. Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Sincerely,
Liz Anderson
