Take The Survey Today!

In April, Colin Li, a high school student from Toronto, Ontario, reached out to Farm & Food Care Saskatchewan with a request to connect with Saskatchewan farmers with a brief 2–3-minute survey. Colin is working on a research project exploring how soil health measurements relate to crop yield and wanted to gather insights from local farmers.

Farm & Food Care Saskatchewan was pleased to assist Colin in reaching out to the farming community, helping him expand his understanding of farming practices and food production in our province.

If you're a farmer, we invite you to support Colin’s project by completing his short survey. The survey is designed for farmers to anonymously share basic field information (no sensitive data), soil test results, and crop yield data. Colin aims to analyze this data using machine learning techniques to determine whether soil health indicators can help predict crop yields.

CanadianFoodFocus.org is a gathering place to tell our Canadian food and farming stories. We explore how food is grown and raised, share recipes and provide useful advice to help Canadians make confident food choices.
