Working Together for Kennewick Businesses!

Pledge to Shop Small Throughout Kennewick on Small Business Saturday!

Shopping small, locally owned businesses this holiday season makes a huge impact on our community.

We get it, ordering online from a big box retailer with a few clicks on your phone or computer is so easy. It takes a little more effort and planning to shop the locally owned stores in our community. But those mom and pop shops, corner cafes, and your neighbors online boutique all need you!

Shopping local keeps more money in our community, and that is important! Shop, dine and play in Kennewick this holiday season.

The new permitting system upgrade is COMPLETE!

This platform will be much easier to navigate, provide more information on your application status, and streamline the application process for you. This switch required the shut down of the current system while data was transferred to the new system. Thank you for your patience while we successfully made this transition.

Current customers will need to register for a new profile to apply for online permits beginning today. All applications submitted after November 19th will need to be submitted online or in person. Emailed and faxed applications are no longer being accepted.

Santa Claus is Coming to Downtown Kennewick!

Experience the magic of the holidays with a hometown parade featuring floats, characters, and the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus.

The parade starts at 10am on December 4th in Downtown Kennewick. After the parade, visit Santa for a selfie photo opportunity, pet miniature horses, grab a snack from the on-site food truck and a free hot cocoa courtesy of Numerica Credit Union (while supplies last).

Pick up your Christmas tree from the downtown lot, visit the storefronts decked out in holiday decor, or drop you letter to Santa in the official Santa Mailbox.
