ANTI-SEMITISM AIMED AT MRFF DUE TO ITS SUCCESSFUL DEMAND THAT GIANT JESUS PAINTING BE CONCEALED BY MERCHANT MARINE ACADEMY “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it,” wrote philosopher George Santayana in 1905 — words that should be contemplated as we commemorate International Holocaust Remembrance Day 2023 amidst a frightening rise in anti-Semitism here in America.  MRFF and its Founder and President Mikey Weinstein have been no strangers to anti-Semitic hate from so-called “Christians” going all the way back to MRFF’s founding over a decade and a half ago, but over the last few years this hate has risen to a whole new level in both its quantity and its overtness and violent nature.
