BIKE, RUN OR WALK WITH US ON 10/23
A breast cancer diagnosis -- whether it’s your own or someone you love -- can leave you feeling helpless. Imagine if there was a way to fight back-- to do something that can make an impact. There is. It’s called the PINK 13.1 Walk/Run/Bike. It’s a 1 day, 13.1-mile walk, run, or bike making a real difference in the fight against breast cancer for Virginians.

VBCF invites you to join the movement and take a stand against breast cancer by fundraising and walking with us in Abingdon this October.
How to Get the Most Out of Your Doctor’s Appointments
Meeting with a doctor can be intimidating. It can feel like they have “secret” information about our health, and they hold all the power because they decide which of our health concerns are treated and how. Patients need to be their own health advocates! We want to be sure that we leave each appointment feeling like our concerns were heard and our questions answered. But how do we do that?
