AKG Newsworthy NOLA

July 2026

Peter Max, Liberty Head Ver XI #2, 49.5" x 49.5" Acrylic on Canvas

"America is known as a country that welcomes people to its shores. All kinds of people."

- Ruth Bader Ginsburg

We are thrilled to announce that we were awarded two art placements in the newly renovated New Orleans Convention Center.

Big Chief Shaka Zulu and Aaron Reichert will be featured artists.

Out of over 4,300 submissions, only 71 artists were selected, and we are incredibly proud of Shaka and Aaron for this achievement.

While we submitted an additional seven artists, the final selection was restricted to regional artists living and working in Louisiana.

I'm equally proud of our other artists who submitted and would like to share these monumental and stellar paintings with you.

Please enjoy the submissions by Richard Currier, Ann Bachelier, Jacobo Roa, Patterson and Barnes,

Eddy Stevens, Michelle Gagliano, and Andy Baird.

Love,

Angela
