This special broadcast will be released monthly on Fridays to highlight materials posted on CTSU, along with any updates and upcoming events related to FORTE.

Participant Reminders After Enrollment – Blood Collection, Stool Collection, Follow-Up

As FORTE has successfully enrolled well over 50% of the total expected accrual, both participant retention and data collection have become of ever-increasing importance to this trial. Multiple patient-directed letters have been created to support research staff in maintaining contact with participants across the duration of this trial. Implementing these tools may assist participants with completing all necessary responsibilities to their enrollment.

These documents are intended to assist in follow-up processes with participants randomized to NRG-CC005. Each letter can be sent to participants either physically or digitally, to remind them of upcoming activities – such as blood collection, stool collection, annual follow-up, and study colonoscopy – related to FORTE. Site staff may include stool collection documents when distributing the stool kit to assist patients in correctly completing their sample collection.

This Amendment, activated in June 2026, included a new protocol section (5.2) to provide guidance on the scheduling of protocol-specified colonoscopies when unscheduled colonoscopy exams are performed. This session will also be recorded and posted on the FORTE YouTube Channel.
