Greetings!
Today we launch our
Fall Data collection. In addition to the required reporting we submit to the NCEA, the fall data collection helps us better understand our schools. We gain a better sense of your current realities, including learning more about the students you serve and the faculty and staff that share in your mission every day. This understanding, in turn, allows us to tell the story of our schools more completely.
The information shared in this report, along with other information gained through MAP testing and other system-wide data, helps us identify successes and challenges that are being encountered within our network of schools. An example of this effectiveness is at work this week. Because of the widespread adoption of SchoolAdmin, we will be able to track inquiries at our schools after running an ad in The Seattle Times, welcoming our students back to school. By understanding how our marketing efforts impact school inquiries, we can be more targeted in how we promote and recruit for our schools, better serving each of you and complementing the work that is being done at the local level.
Thank you for taking time this week to complete this critical task. I look forward to seeing many of you in Seabeck and connecting with you during our retreat time together.
With gratitude,
Nicholas
