TKCS Shoe Drive

The PTF is teaming up with the King’s Athletic Booster Club to collect your gently worn or new shoes of all sizes and all types (except roller skates and ice skates). Donated shoes will help raise funds for our athletic program while also being distributed to individuals in developing countries.

Please consider asking friends, neighbors, or your church community to join in, and feel free to share the initiative on social media! There are shoe collection boxes at both school entrances. Thank you for your support!

From the Head of School

Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but deceitful are the kisses of an enemy. – Proverbs 27:6

The Bible is quite clear about the potential negative and positive power of our words. James 3:8 tells us that "the tongue is a restless evil, full of deadly poison." Proverbs 18:21 tells us that "the tongue has the power of life and death," which is a very strong statement. But as I was reflecting on Proverbs 27:6, I noticed that positive use of our words does not mean flattery. Positive words can take the role of rebuke or of encouragement. To use words of rebuke for our friends or for our children — without anger or revenge — requires patience and wisdom. And folks who flatter you with praise may have ulterior motives. We all need the Lord's wisdom and the filling of the Holy Spirit to provide meaningful rebuke and genuine encouragement. Once again we see that honoring Christ requires more than effort — it depends primarily on giving the Holy Spirit access to our hearts.

TKCS Parent Survey

It has been a pleasure to partner with you this school year at The King’s Christian School. In order to help us continue to equip and strengthen students to impact the world through a Christ-centered life, we have contracted with a company to survey current families to help guide our leadership and improve what we do.

This brief survey is confidential, and parent respondents will not be identified. The results will be tabulated independently by our consultant and presented to the school's leadership.

This survey will take about 15 minutes to complete. Your participation and feedback are very important to us. Please complete this [survey] by tonight at 11:59 p.m. Thank you for participating in this important survey!
