Therapy Appreciation Day

Therapy Appreciation Day takes place on Sunday, May 31, 2026, and Pacekids will be celebrating our incredible Therapy Team on June 1 and 2. 

Our Therapy Team works closely with families, educators, aides, and community partners to provide meaningful, child-centered support. We are continually inspired by the resilience, joy, determination, and individuality of the children and families we work alongside.

We are proud to celebrate and recognize the dedication of our Therapy Team and grateful to the families who trust us to be part of their journey.

Better Speech and Hearing Month

May is Better Speech and Hearing Month, a national awareness campaign led by Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC). This year’s theme, “Access Changes Everything,” speaks directly to something we witness at Pacekids every single day. Timely, equitable, and culturally safe access to communication health services can be genuinely transformative for children and their families.

Putting for Pace 2026

FORE! Putting for Pace 2026 is fast approaching so now is the time to register. Skip work on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Springbank Links Golf Club for a day of food and beverage, skill contests, games, silent auction, and the chance to support 700 children with diverse needs and their families. We would love to see you out on the links!

Drive your impact further! All funds raised at Putting for Pace will be matched up to 50% through Roger’s Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink.

Sundance Open House

Come celebrate National AccessAbility Week with us on Saturday, May 30th, 2026, at the Pacekids Sundance School Open House! Enjoy a FREE, fun, family-friendly Saturday morning at our Sundance school. Tour our facility, meet our team, and see how we support every child's growth and development.

Free screenings will be offered to families with children ages 2.8 to 6 years old seeking specialized preschool and kindergarten programming. Click the link below for more details and to RSVP today!

Optimist Family Day in the Park 2026

Join Pacekids for some warm weather fun at the Optimist Club of Calgary’s Family Day in the Park. This is one of our favourite events throughout the year!

This day includes free food, children’s activities, games for all ages, and much more! Bring a lawn chair, protection from the sun, and energy to play. Don’t forget to stop by the Pacekids tent to explore some sensory toys and learn more about the important work we do.

Between Friends Camp Bonaventure

Camp Bonaventure is a fun, inclusive outdoor summer day camp in Calgary for youth of all abilities ages 4 to 17. It features themed weeks, creative play, community outings, and exciting adventures. Campers build friendships, gain independence, and explore new interests in a safe, supportive environment - now hosting at three Calgary locations!
