The Best Value in Scotch:
Macleod's Single Malts

A great bottle of whisky at a decent price seems harder and harder to come by. But in the world of Scotch, Macleod's has become a staple for many of our customers. Macleod's is a family owned Independent Bottler, which means they work directly with producers buying barrels to supply their stock. While we can't say where these barrels are purchased from, we can say that they all gravitate around 7-10 years old and are packaged at a slightly higher proof (86 proof) than you usually see in the Scotch world. The elevated proof delivers dynamic flavors while maintaining the elegance and drinkability Scotch Whisky is known for. If the great price point isn't enough for you to give it a try, we have all four of these bottles open at the store for everyone to try so stop by some time and see why we love this whisky.

Macleod's Speyside Single Malt Scotch
SALE $39.99 Reg. $44.99
Speyside is home to ancient clans, breathtaking landscapes - and more than half of Scotland's distilleries. Named in honour of clan member Ian Macleod, Macleod's Speyside Single Malt proclaims its birthplace with a wonderfully fruity nose, combined with elegant floral notes. The complexity of its character is revealed on your first sip, ending with a mouthwateringly dry finish.

Macleod's Highland Single Malt Scotch
SALE $39.99 Reg. $44.99
From timeless Clan traditions to majestic landscapes, there is nothing 'small' about the Scottish Highlands, or the whiskies crafted here for the generations. Named after Clan member Ian Macleod, our Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky quietly reflects this monumental place. Elegant and complex yet well-balanced and smooth, the wonderful dryness of the finish is the perfect farewell.

Macleod's Lowland Single Malt Scotch
SALE $39.99 Reg. $44.99
As well as Clans, Lairds and Kings, Scotland's gently rolling lowlands were also once home to Burns, Stevenson and Scott. The area's lush countryside fostered not just strong traditions and literary greatness, but the fresh, floral character of its whiskies. Named in honour of clan member Ian Macleod, Macleod's Lowland Single Malt Whisky has an unmistakably vanilla nose, opening out to a soft yet complex palate - and smooth toffee finish.

Macleod's Islay Single Malt Scotch
SALE $39.99 Reg. $44.99
Endless beaches and clear waters. Imposing mountains and deserted moors. Traditions passed down by ancient Clans. Scotland's west coast islands defy general descriptions - so too does Macelod's Island single Malt - so-named in honour of Clansman Ian Macelod. The nose is dry with a strong sea salt influence; your first taste reveals balanced sweetness behind the iodine and peat - and a seemingly endless finish.

Whites:

Vinchio Vagio
Roero Arneis
Fruste
2021
$19.99
With its straw yellow colour with light amber reflections, the "Frusté" is on the nose delicate, fresh and fruity with light notes of tropical fruits and herbaceous hints in the finish. On the palate, this white wine is dry and very balanced between freshness, roundness, and structure.

Capricho
Godello
Bierzo
2021
$19.99
This Caprice comes from the plot of Lamas, the largest winery. A spectacular cone-shaped plot, in which the vines were planted according to the contour lines to avoid soil erosion. A joy of site. Jose, its owner, as a mining engineer, knows a lot. As he knows a lot about soils and that is why in Gancedo they are all masters applying it to the vineyard. It is a winery made on a whim, with small deposits to ferment the grapes according to plots, with peristaltic pumps that caress the grapes, with deposits, like cement eggs, very original for their Godellos. We add Nacho, his winemaker, and the equation can not go better.

Reds:

Allegrini
Palazzo Della Torre
Veronse
2019
$19.99
This wine is elegant and well balanced, with a good structure and aroma. Ruby red in color with purple hues, it offers light hints of raisins, sophisticated notes of vanilla, black pepper, cloves and cinnamon. It has a long, velvety finish and soft tannins.
Blend: Corvina Veronese 40%, Corvinone 30%, Rondinella 25%, Sangiovese 5%

E. Guigal
Cotes Du Rhone
2019
$19.99
Deep and dark red. On the nose intensely aromatic, with black fruits and spices. The palate is full, round and sexy. Round and smooth tannins present through the full bodied, ample wine. Overall a complete wine, with a long finish, with elegance and finesse accompanying the abundance of fruit and well-balanced tannins.

Montes Alpha
Syrah
Colchagua Valley
2019
$19.99
93 Points Wine Spectator Top 100 Rank #21
Deep ruby-red in color with violet nuances. The nose is very expressive with aromas of ripe blackberries, figs, crème de cassis, and hints of leather and dark chocolate. The palate is well balanced with bright acidity, smooth tannins, ample structure, and generous volume. The finish is long and considerably complex.

Alma Negra
M Blend
Mendoza
2019
$19.99
91 Points Wine Spectator
Floral and spice aromas pull you in and fold over to the palate, adding juicy boysenberry and blueberry pastry notes at the core. The flavors fan out from a push of fresh acidity, with savory olive and five-spice details weaving in, ending with bold tannins and nice length.
