Happening This Sunday

Sunday's Special Collection: The Advocates for Human Rights

Our Special Collection this Sunday is for The Advocates for Human Rights. This Minneapolis-based organization mobilizes pro bono legal professionals to provide free legal help to people in the Upper Midwest who are seeking asylum, detained by immigration, are unaccompanied immigrant children or trafficking survivors, or are in immigration detention. Since 1983 they have been a leader in social justice efforts, promoting and protecting human rights locally and worldwide.

In addition to the collection basket on Sunday, you can donate in three other ways:

  • Online: http://bit.ly/give-to-wbuuc - indicate RIGHTS
  • Send a check to WBUUC with RIGHTS on the memo line.
  • Text to Give by text to 651-615-5551 the “amount RIGHTS" (ex, if you want to give $20, text: 20 RIGHTS)

Chat with a Minister

Sundays in March

Following each service

Meet in the back of the Social Hall

Drop-in for a chat and space to process with Ministerial Intern Cas, Rev. Jessica or Rev. Jack during the month of March following each service. The sessions will last approx. 30-45 minutes. With so much happening in the world right now, it’s good to connect and talk about it.
