Where: ZOOM MEETING
Using Paul David Tripp’s “Love Know Speak Do,” Johanna will share ways to care for parents and spouses of people who might be on the autism spectrum with counseling tools for addressing five particular difficulties.

1) It is difficult to get a diagnosis.
2) It is difficult to determine the causes of the behaviors.
3) It is hard to know what to do about the behaviors.
4)It is easy to feel fearful about the effects of “the impairments” on the future.
5) The “behavior” can really hurt.

Johanna writes, “The hurt suffered in parenting a child with autism is difficult to talk about. Who should you tell? Maybe you feel angry that your life feels so much more difficult than other people’s. We all need the humility that grows from the knowledge of our need for help in weakness and grace in sin. We desperately need the Great Physician to reveal the truth that 'we cannot perceive' and give us the strength to diligently do what He prescribes."

We hope to see you soon!
