Quick Action Needed:
Tell Congress Not to Cut Medicaid Funding
The U.S. Congress is working to pass a budget reconciliation bill to keep funding the government. The current budget proposal will result in unprecedented cuts to Medicaid — a program tens of millions of Americans depend on, including many breast cancer patients. Medicaid is the largest source of funding for medical and health-related services for people with low income in the United States, providing health insurance to 85 million low-income and disabled people as of 2022. This includes over 1.8 million people in Virginia.
The U.S. House of Representatives plans to vote on the budget bill tomorrow, February 25, 2025. Please take action TODAY! Click on the link below from the National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC) to quickly tell your Representative to vote NO on the reconciliation bill.
