Look for the green envelope in your mailbox!

Please respond now to WILPF’s Spring Appeal!

Dear Glenn,

As we fall back further on women’s and human rights, many organizations fear speaking out due to loss of funding and punitive policies. WILPF is one of the rare voices that won’t back down. We will continue to be bold and stand up for your rights.

To do this work we need your financial support.

The green envelope from your mailbox is our Spring Fundraising Appeal to WILPF members and allies.

Please give what you can to enable WILPF to show up strong – so that we don’t turn back the clock on human rights, periods of peace and the freedoms that have been hard-won by WILPF women and men.

We honor all you have done and will continue to do in these challenging times for our democracy – marching in the streets, writing to Congress members, mobilizing communities – and we want to do this important work with you.

Please give now so we can stand up for your rights… and ours!

  • $50 helps fund resources such as a student intern to support WILPF’s mobilization.
  • $110 helps WILPF publish educational materials like eAlerts and Peace & Freedom magazine.
  • $250 helps support local advocacy like branch mini-grants and engagement with local allies.
  • $500 enables WILPF to scale up our impact nationally, such as updating our website and mobilizing at regional and national forums, so we can advocate with peace and justice allies across the country.

The moment is NOW!

As your new leadership team at WILPF US, we are developing plans to for WILPF to be more visible, more effective and to develop more compelling solidarity actions.

Between the three of us, we represent generations of bold women:

  • Linda is the proud daughter of immigrants, committed to advancing immigrant rights.
  • Martha is dedicated to mobilizing individuals to advance peace, dignity and equal rights for women and their families.
  • Shilpa comes from a long line of human rights advocates. (In fact, her grandparents protested peacefully with Gandhi and WILPF in India!)

As we prepare to celebrate 110 years of WILPF history and achievements, we are passionate about continuing your and WILPF’s legacy of advocating for human rights here in the US and across the globe.

We ask your support today.
