The Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police (GACP) marked a milestone with a ribbon-cutting on January 8, 2026, celebrating the relocation of its headquarters from Duluth to 280 Technology Parkway in Peachtree Corners. The newly renovated 15,000-square-foot facility will support the organization’s growing membership enhance training and professional resources for law enforcement leaders across Georgia.
The relocation places GACP within Peachtree Corners’ technology and innovation corridor, reinforcing the city’s reputation as a smart city and a destination for forward-thinking organizations.

Scam Alert: Fraudulent Emails Targeting Peachtree Corners Businesses and Residents
The City of Peachtree Corners is warning the community about a fraudulent email scam impersonating the City’s Planning & Zoning and Community Development Department. These emails falsely claim to represent the City and request payment of “application approval and review fees” related to zoning or development applications.
The city does not solicit additional fees by email or send invoices requesting payment in this manner. Any message asking for payment, proof of payment, or settlement instructions via email should be treated as suspicious.
If you receive a message like this, do not respond or provide any information. Instead, report it directly to the City’s Community Development Department for verification.

GGC Seeks Silent Auction Donations for Four Pillars Scholarship Gala
Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) is currently seeking silent auction items and experiences in support of its Second Annual Four Pillars Scholarship Gala, to be held on March 20, 2026, at the GGC Convocation Center. Proceeds from the event provide critical scholarship support for GGC students, many of whom are first-generation college students and rely on financial aid to pursue higher education and career opportunities in Gwinnett County and across Georgia.
Local businesses and community partners are invited to contribute auction items or experiences by February 20, 2026. Donors will be recognized as silent auction supporters and play an important role in helping GGC students build brighter futures while strengthening the region’s workforce and economy.
