An Evening with Dr. Thurber

Please join Dr. Thurber for his second community webinar tomorrow, February 23 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

The Webinar is titled: PUSH: The Paradox of Parental Pressure

Loving caregivers maintain high standards and communicate lofty expectations to their children. Yet their well-intentioned methods can cause anxiety, depression, and under-performance. How is this vexing scenario possible?

Masking Reminder

We're excited to allow our community to be mask free outdoors beginning on Monday, February 28. We ask that you please send in extra masks with your child to help ease the transition of re-masking when coming back indoors. As mentioned before the break, teachers will not be able to manage which students have permission from their parents/guardians to go unmasked outside, so please set expectations for your own child for recess and lunch periods.

Mackenzie Passes Senior Moves in Figure Skating!

Crossroads Academy eight grader, Mackenzie, recently passed her Senior Moves in the Field Test. This accomplishment means that Mackenzie has achieved the highest accomplishment in testing, and has now earned the title, "U.S. Figure Skating Gold Medalist." Fewer than 1,000 members of U.S. Figure Skating pass the Senior Moves in the Field test each year. We are so proud of the hard work and dedication that this outstanding student has shown. Congratulations, Mackenzie!
