What a wonderful start we’ve had to the 93rd Annual Craftsmen’s Fair!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Craftsmen’s Appreciation Dinner last evening. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the dedication of our members and recognize several significant milestones.

As is tradition at the dinner we toast our 20-year booth holders:

  • Julia Brandis
  • Richard Foy
  • Gigi LaBerge
  • Laurel MacDuffie
  • David Orser

A very special congratulations to Jack Dokus, who was recognized for an extraordinary 50 years as a booth holder at the Craftsmen’s Fair. Thank you, Jack, for your heartfelt remarks and for the remarkable legacy you continue to share with our community.

We were also honored to recognize Tom Hayward as he celebrates his final year as a booth holder after decades of participation in the annual Craftsmen’s Fair. Tom’s creativity, optimist, and steadfast commitment to the League have enriched this Fair for so many years, and we thank him for all he has contributed.

As a reminder, today is Legislators Day. We are excited to welcome approximately 50 legislators from across New Hampshire to experience the Fair and learn more about the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen. They will join our members this morning as we officially open the Fair together at the sound of the horn.

On Thursday, we will announce the recipients of this year’s Booth Awards. Thank you to each of you for your exceptional commitment to creating a beautiful and welcoming experience for our guests throughout these nine days. The care, creativity, and professionalism you bring to your booth presentations truly set the Craftsmen’s Fair apart and are one of the defining characteristics of this extraordinary event.

Thank you all for making the opening days of the Fair such a success. Here’s to another wonderful day!

Early Morning Entry Notice

The corner entry by Spruce Lodge at Parking Lot 2 will only be available up until 9 AM each day. After that, you must use a designated entry gate. All vehicles used by vendors must be off the property by 9 AM. We are fully locking that fencing by 9:30 AM.

If you are approached by security or mountain staff who are enforcing these rules, please remember to be respectful and listen to their instructions. If you have any concerns regarding an interaction, bring it to the attention of our Event Manager, Karina Jonas or Executive Director Kate Saunders. Thank you

Volunteer Assistance

On Saturday 8/8 we will be very light on tent volunteers. Please remember to turn in the Volunteer Request form found in your booth packet if you know that you will need support. We do our best to prioritize these requests on the days when we do not have as many people available. Thank you to everyone for being supportive of their booth neighbors on days like this as well. You make the system work!

Between 9:45 AM and 5:15 PM our wifi network is blocking access to social media (such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTube). This is done to try to ensure that all point of sale devices will function properly during Fair hours. We appreciate your understanding.
