Bag-It Days is a special promotion that the Bureau of Environmental Services conducts. Instead of traditional bulk sales of our compost, mulch and blended topsoil, all of our products are sold by the bag/tub. This allows residents to purchase our Made Locally / Spread Locally products in smaller quantities than the typical cubic yard. This is a self-serve event.

Bring a shovel, gloves and your containers of choice.

$1.00 per bag/tub. CASH ONLY

HoCoGro Compost

A soil amendment made from organic materials containing nutrients vital for healthy plants and gardens. It loosens hard soils and encourages plant growth. To use, mix into soil before planting or as a top-dress for your lawn.

HoCoGro Mulch

A naturally colored hardwood mulch. We do not use artificial colors or dyes. Our mulch is aged a minimum of 120 days and includes some leaf mix to ensure that is does not rob your plants of nitrogen.

HoCoGro Topsoil

A pre-mixed blend of compost and native soils. Our mix contains 6%-12% organic matter and is perfect for raised beds or reconstructing lawns.
