Letter from the President
Dear Alumna,
Merry Christmas! I hope you and your loved ones had a relaxing and joyful Christmas together. As I reflect on this season of giving, I am overwhelmed with your generosity and support of Catholic High. You have shown your support of this institution in many ways such as voting us Best Private High School for Girls for the fourth consecutive year, contributing on GivingTuesday, and donating winter accessories for our Belair-Edison neighbors. May you continue to bring joy to those you encounter and to embrace our Franciscan values in the new year. Enjoy reading through our Alumnae Monthly Update to catch up on the many alumnae and school activities that took place in December. I encourage you to stay connected to Catholic High by attending our events in 2026!
I wish you a very Happy and Blessed New Year!
Lux Tua Luceat,

| | | | The Alumnae Giving Project | |
Thanks to everyone who assisted with the Alumnae Christmas Giving Project! One week prior to Christmas, we delivered over 90 bags of shoes, clothes of all types, and toys for children living at the poverty level. Gift bags of requested items were also delivered to 40 senior citizens in subsidized housing along with 100 goody bags. The Giving Project was also able to donate children’s coats to a family shelter. All of these were made possible by the generosity of our donors. We couldn’t have done it without you!
Merry Christmas!
Fondly,

Yes, you heard that correctly! Catholic High was voted Best Private High School for Girls by Baltimore Style Magazine for the fourth consecutive year! We shared the exciting news on December 1, 2025 at a school-wide assembly with amazing student performances and a fun game of Wheel of Fortune to guess the special announcement!

Future Athletic Trainers in Action
Seniors in Sports Medicine have their own game plan on the sidelines! Our young women recently demonstrated game-day emergency skills by practicing primary surveys such as, CPR/AED and bleed control, and secondary surveys such as splinting. They also focused on safe athlete transport using spine boards, crutches, ambulatory aid, and manual conveyance. We love seeing future Athletic Trainers in action!

Cubs Who Serve
On Saturday, December 13, Catholic High hosted the annual North East Housing Initiative Christmas Event on our campus! We are so proud of our young women for selflessly volunteering and braving the cold weather to assist our neighboring community.
Thank you to our students, staff, and especially you, our alumnae, for donating toys, coats, and winter accessories for the event. Your donations are greatly appreciated!

The team members were asked a variety of questions about the function of their robot and how they worked together to utilize the engineering design process to develop their design. Way to go, Ladies!
