Pass It On
Do you have any gently used medals, Holy Cards or Rosaries that are ready to be passed on? The supply at PVH is almost gone and we have patients periodically requesting them.
You can leave them in the Offertory Basket at the church on Sunday
Bring them in during August and Deacon Dori Healy will make sure to pass them on with your blessings during their admissions.

Summer Greetings from
the Office of Presiding Bishop
Every summer I look forward to the return of the Cliff Swallows here along the South Platte River in Denver Colorado. These amazing birds travel hundreds and even thousands of miles from Central and South America to Colorado to build their mud nests, feast on millions of flying insects and renew their cycle of birth and new life....

Our History Supporting Our Homeless Neighbors
The churches that make up the 301 Faith Partners at 301 Stuart Street in Fort Collins include Trinity Lutheran, Mary of Magdala Ecumenical Catholic, and St. Paul’s Episcopal. From 2013 until 2024, we welcomed homeless families into our space through the Faith Family Hospitality program of the Fort Collins Family Housing Network.
How it is Now
Unhoused individuals have been spending their nights on Trinity property for decades. We love them as beloved children of God, but we did not invite them, they have not been vetted, and they at times have brought crime and drug activity to our neighborhood.
A New Way to Help
In early 2025 we were approached by the City of Fort Collins to consider whether we could be involved in a SafeLot pilot along with First United Methodist where a small number of fully vetted and screened unhoused individuals and families could legally and safely sleep in their cars in our parking lots. The two church campuses would take turns every other month. This program has been going on successfully in Loveland for three years, and we are evaluating whether we can begin a pilot program in Fort Collins.
To be fully transparent, we held an open house for our neighbors living near our campus and for our three congregations on February 7, 2026, and a panel discussion on June 25, 2026.
The panel included representatives from Family Housing Network, Catholic Charities, The City of Fort Collins, Outreach Fort Collins, Fort Collins Police Department’s HOPE Team (Homeless Outreach), and Loveland Churches participating in their Safe Lot program.
Talk to Us/Volunteer
Upon request, there is a newsletter that will be sent out periodically to keep everyone up to date with all the latest information on how we are helping the homeless population in our city. We want to know how you feel and what your concerns are.
Please contact Mother Rosean Amaral at 970-493-9536 or motherrosean@gmail.com to share your thoughts, receive the newsletter or if you would like to volunteer.

THE 2026 WELCOME EVENT
Help for housing-insecure students at CSU, in partnership with the Lutheran Campus Ministry.
Since 2021, Plymouth has collaborated with Lutheran Campus Ministry’s Student Housing Security Initiative, CSU’s Office of International Programs and the Fort Collins International Center to help welcome their students to campus. LuMin students are housed three to an apartment at Rams Village. This means there are beds, desks, chests, table and chairs, couch/chairs/coffee table, appliances, and empty kitchen cabinets.
Housing for international students varies in size and what is provided. The purpose of the Welcome Event is to provide, at no cost to the students, items that will help them make their space functional, conducive to study, comfortable and HOME.
Drop off at Plymouth Congregational Church, 916 West Prospect Road, Fort Collins, CO
Sunday 8/9 - 9:00 am-Noon Wednesday 8/12 - 1:00-4:00 pm Thursday, 8/13 - 3:00-6:00 pm
For more details or to see volunteer opportunities for this amazing event visit: https://www.plymouthucc.org/studentsupport.html

Spring Creek Trail Cleanup a Success!
Thank you to everyone who joined the Joint Ecological Team (JET) of the 301 Faith Partners for our Spring Creek Trail Cleanup!
Eleven volunteers representing all three congregations came together to care for our shared environment by cleaning the trail from Mason Trail to Prospect Road. Together, we collected a significant amount of litter and recyclable materials, with some volunteers even wading into the river to retrieve cans from the streambed. It was a wonderful morning of stewardship, fellowship, and service to our community.
We look forward to organizing another trail cleanup later this fall and hope even more people will join us!

301 Quilters
301 Quilters meets Fridays from 10 am-12 pm in Room 2.
If you’d like to join us, please come! NO experience needed, NO need to have been coming last year, NO worries. Hope to see the old familiar as well as new faces. We’re a fun and caring small group that has a purpose of aiding those in need.
HELP NEEDED
The 301 Quilters are asking for help this summer to sew some quilt tops. We have made kits that are put together with cut 11” squares and instructions. All you do is sew! The kits are in a box in front of the red tote used for Quilt Donations beside the west Fellowship Hall door.
If you are able, please pick up a kit, sew at your leisure and then return the top to the red tote.
Thank you for your help!
