In June 2025 OSHA reissued their National Emphasis Program on Amputations in Manufacturing Industries. The focus of this program is on compliance with machine guarding and lockout/tagout.

One of the primary changes that came with the reissuance is that new NAICS codes have been added to the list of industry types to be inspected.
