On Friday, May 19th After Care will be available for registered students. All registered students going to After Care on May 19th should bring their lunch and snacks. There is NO After Care on May 26th, the last day of school.

Summer Bridge for

Reading & Math

All rising 1st-8th graders have summer reading and math assignments. An email went out with details on Thursday, May 11th. All Summer Bridge activities are linked under "Quicklinks" on our website.

MICHELLE A. MENDEZ LIFETIME SERVICE AWARD

NOMINATIONS DUE MAY 12, 2023

Inspired by her dedication to service,

the Michelle A. Mendez Lifetime Service Award

was created in an effort to recognize a current 8th grade parent who shares her

passion for serving others. In order to ensure every consideration is made,

nominations from the community will be carefully considered. The following

criteria will assist in determining the candidate’s eligibility for the award.

The nominee must:

Be a parent or guardian of a current 8th grade student
Volunteer his or her time, talent, and treasure by serving any organization within the school, church, or greater community
Lead by example, representing the virtues of St. Monica herself

Dear Parents and Families,

I’m sending my sincere gratitude for making our Book Fair an outstanding success! Thanks to your participation, we sold approximately 2,400 books at our Fair. Our sales reached over $19,000.00 for our school. My reward for hosting a Book Fair is watching your kids discover new books. All that joy wouldn’t be possible without volunteers from our school community – you deserve my special thanks.

Preschool Field Day

Friday, May 19th, 8:20-9:40AM

on the east side of the football field

Parent volunteers have signed up and all other preschool parents are welcome to cheer from the bleachers! Preschool dismissal is at 10AM due to graduation but carpool will begin at 9:45AM.

Field Day is a Spirit Dress Day for preschool. Appropriate shorts and athletic shoes are required.

Don't forget sunscreen.

North Texas Food Bank Kids Camp

$30 Registration Fee

Kids ages 8-11 can attend one Monday during June and July for a behind-the-scenes view of the Food Bank. They will learn about food insecurity and fighting hunger in North Texas.
