Flying Fruitcake Fun - It’s a Wrap!
Thanks to all who came out on Sunday, Jan. 27 for our first ever Flying Fruitcake Fun. Teams competed to see who was best at Fruitcake Hole, and people batted, tossed and otherwise demolished the fruit-filled masses all in the name of charity and fun. Our visitors donated one bin of food that will help stock the shelves of the Maryland Food Bank of the Eastern Shore. The winery donated 10% of wine sales and additional money was raised through fruitcake sales and donations. In all, more than $120 was presented to the food bank at the end of the day.
