Friends,

ABCOFLASH (The American Baptist Churches of Los Angeles, Southwest and Hawaii) are part of American Baptist Churches, which is our connection to 5000 plus churches in the U.S. and Puerto Rico and mission work worldwide. The Executive Committee of the Board of General Ministries of ABCUSA will meet in Los Angeles next week. This gives us an excellent opportunity to meet with them and our General Secretary, Rev. Dr. Gina Jacobs-Strain. If you are in the Los Angeles area, please join us at noon next Friday, March 14th, for lunch and to connect with leaders of our ABCUSA family! Pastors, Church Leaders, and anyone wanting to know our National leadership are welcome to join!

Please reply to this email by next Tuesday, March 11th, to let us know you are coming so we can have enough food for everyone! If you have any food restrictions, please include that information in your reply.

Pastor Andy

Executive Minister - ABCOFLASH

Here's the invitation we are passing on to you...

Invitation from American Baptist Churches USA President Nikita McCalister to an informal social lunch with the American Baptist Churches USA (ABCUSA) Board of General Ministries Executive Committee

When the ABCUSA Board of General Ministries Executive Committee meets in various regions, we like to take the opportunity to meet with local American Baptist Churches USA clergy and executives to share in a small social gathering of fellowship during an informal lunch. The Board of General Ministries Executive Committee will meet in Los Angeles next week.

I extend an invitation to you, pastors/leaders, and spouses to an informal luncheon with the Board of General Ministries Executive Committee at noon on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Park Windsor Baptist Church at 1842 W 108th St, Los Angeles, CA 90047.

You will be pleased to meet the ABCUSA General Secretary, Rev. Dr. Gina Jacobs-Strain, at this luncheon. The Board of General Ministries Executive Committee hopes you will be able to attend.

With much appreciation…

Rev. Nikita McCalister

President - ABCUSA
