A Message from Mrs. Martin | | |
Dear Families,
After a fun Sunday afternoon at Boo Bash, we have a busy week ahead of us! Red Ribbon Week is always a busy and fun week for our faculty, staff and students. Our full schedule of Red Ribbon Week activities is below. On Friday, October 30th we will hold our annual Red Ribbon Run at 10:30 a.m. Parents are encouraged to join us to run, or just cheer us on! We will be closing both our main and back parking lots, so be sure to arrive early and park in one of the adjacent lots along McKenna.
Thank you to all our volunteers who worked so hard to make Boo Bash such a fun event again this year! It was so wonderful to see so many of our families enjoying the beautiful day yesterday and we look forward to sharing the total funds raised very soon!
Sincerely,
Kristy F. Martin

In addition, students in K-8 are eligible to be honored with the Christian Attitude Award. This award is given quarterly to two students in each class (K-3) and to one student in each class (4-8) who consistently display Christian values, attitudes, and actions. Parents are welcome to join us.

Bible Verse + Prayer for October
Each month our students learn a Bible verse. We also choose a prayer to focus on each month. We would love for you to practice the Bible verse and prayer with your children at home.
Hebrews 13:8
"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
Hail, Holy Queen
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To you do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To you do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, your eyes of mercy toward us, and after this exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O, sweet Virgin Mary. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen.

Stewardship Appeal
The Fruits of Stewardship
Matthew 7:20 says, "So by their fruits you will know them." Are you living your life in a fruitful way? Are you honoring the Lord with your first fruits as Proverbs advises us to do? Each October, Fr. Pat asks us to reflect on our Stewardship of Corpus Christi Parish. This year he challenges us to consider the fruitfulness of sharing our time, talent and treasure with Corpus Christi Parish.
