A Change The World Webinar

Tuesday, Aug. 12

1:30pm PT/2:30pm MT/3:30pm CT/4:30pm ET.

Open to the public. Co-Sponsored by Alliance For Just Money and An Economy Of Our Own.

Imagine if we COULD afford all the things that make life better – that we’re told there’s no money for.

(subsidized day care, free higher education, forgiven student loans, food assistance for the working poor, free school lunches, subsidized affordable and safe housing, and universal national healthcare for all).

Imagine the different world we’d live in. Imagine that world with less stress, conflict, violence and deprivation. A world of abundance, not austerity, because there really is enough for everyone.

Alliance For Just Money is a strong ally of WILPF’s National Women, Money & Democracy Committee.

They promote a fairer monetary system – one that’s not based on oppressive debt and designed to further enrich the financier class.  They ask how much more generous and supportive would citizens be if they weren’t constantly worried about having enough money to get by.

They have solutions to suggest for how we can provide for everyone’s basic needs, and how changing the money system is the key.

Moving away from a debt-based system that enriches the wealthy and enslaves the working class could create a more peaceful and equitable world. And it’s not impossible.

This informative and entertaining webinar explains how it might work, and why peace folks should care.
