Children's Ministries Update

Dear All Saints' Parents and Families,

This weekend, many of our families and formation leaders are heading up to Kanuga for our Annual Parish Retreat, so Children's Church and Children's Formation will not meet this week (but the nursery will operate as usual). We'll be back next week!

In the meantime, here are some things to look forward to:

Pop-Up Love Shop

Sunday, October 13

10:20 - 11:05 a.m., at the table near the magnolia tree

Next Sunday is Pride Weekend in Atlanta and we will show love and kindness to people who are walking to the Pride Parade by giving out handmade goodies and gifts to practice loving our neighbors as ourselves.

Harry Potter Night

Sunday, October 27

Join us for a magical evening of Harry Potter-themed worship, fellowship, and fun. Costumes (of all sorts) encouraged!

Trunk or Treat

4:30 p.m., Kennedy Courtyard

Trunk or treat through Diagon Alley (a.k.a Kennedy Courtyard) with Harry Potter characters and friends from our Children’s Ministries and Refugee Ministries programs.

Holy Eucharist: Harry Potter and the Theological Imagination

5:30 p.m., Ellis Hall, Parish House

Celebrate Eucharist in the Great Hall (a.k.a. Ellis Hall), then eat a Hogwarts-style feast and enjoy the movie “Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets” afterward.

Undie Sunday

Bring a pack of underwear to church (or to Harry Potter Night) on Undie Sunday in support of Threads, our children's clothing ministry. Threads need all sizes and all kinds!
