Chairs: Andrea Kaster, MD, CBEC

Clinical breast assessment and genetic risk assessment are core components of comprehensive breast care. In this combined post conference workshop, a multidisciplinary team of breast and genetics experts will cover foundational concepts in both areas of specialty practice and present updates on a variety of topics including: comprehensive clinical breast examination, evaluation of a breast mass, modifiable risk factors, use of models, a breast screening update, and care of special populations. In addition, experts will review both moderate- and high-penetrance genetic mutations from a guidelines perspective, dive into the psychological impact of a breast cancer diagnosis, review tumor genomics, and highlight personalized care using PRS. At the end of the session, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in interactive clinical case presentations with the panel of experts. This workshop will ensure that attendees leave with both a strong foundation in breast and genetics knowledge and possess new skills in delivering comprehensive breast care and genetic evaluation of the patients they serve.
