"Jurassic Stacks" (2026) PG-ish [Loan period: 2h 7m (no renewals)]

In the heart of Bismarck, a team of library staff secretly transforms the stacks into a theme park featuring living dinosaurs drawn from the pages of prehistoric picture books. Before opening the attraction to the public, they invite a top paleontologist, a paleobotanist, a Dewey Decimal theorist, and a very well-read dog to experience the park and help calm anxious patrons. However, their visit is anything but quiet as the shushing system breaks down, the prehistoric creatures break out, and the excitement builds to some very overdue results.

🦖🦕 Happy Halloween from your Library Staff! 👻🎃

PIN Required for Libby and Kanopy

Your library account PIN is now required when signing in to Libby and Kanopy. Don’t worry—not much is changing! You’ll continue to use Libby for eBooks and eAudiobooks and Kanopy for streaming movies and other video content just as you do now.

Your PIN is the same one you use to access your library account online. If you don’t know your PIN or need help resetting it, contact the library or stop by in person. We’ll be happy to help!

This update won’t affect your library card, borrowing privileges, or access to digital resources. It just adds an extra layer of security to your digital library experience.

BVMPL is a staple in our community. There are activities, events, and programs for everyone, regardless of age or background.
