To Staten Island NFP Association Members,
SINFPA is excited to announce that our 10th Annual Nonprofit Conference is right around the corner! On October 27, 2022, we will be hosting a full-day event that will be bringing around 150 nonprofit leaders for a day of education and networking. This conference will provide insights into the most pressing issues in the nonprofit sector.
The only full-day event in Staten Island specifically focused on enhancing the capacity of the nonprofit sector, the conference brings together more than 150 area nonprofit staff, leaders and volunteers and features: keynote speakers addressing critical topics; distinct programs for nonprofit professionals and organizations of all experiences and focus areas; interactive workshops, breakout groups and networking sessions to explore issues of importance to nonprofit organizations, staff and community leaders; and a vendor arena highlighting services and information to help nonprofit organizations.
To help us gauge interest and collect necessary feedback and suggestions to ensure that the event is meaningful, relevant, and engaging for our Staten Island nonprofit sector, we ask you to fill out this quick survey.
We are grateful for our members' support and can’t wait to hear your feedback!
Thank you,
Staten Island NFP Association

For more information on our upcoming Job Fairs, contact Human Resources at 718-818-2501.
Attendees must have proof of up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination and wear a mask.
|
|
Best way to protect yourself from COVID-19
The best way to protect yourself from COVID-19 is by being up to date with your vaccines and boosters.
Vaccine induced immunity is proven to be more effective than immunity due to infection from COVID-19.
We want to rely on vaccines and prevention first and resort to therapeutics and antiviral medication as a secondary line of defense.
|
|
Boosters
Both Pfizer and Moderna recently said they could have reformulated boosters ready in early September.
The updated boosters are expected to bolster protection against newer variants.
COVID-19 has been mutating to become better at evading our immune defenses, both from vaccination and from prior infection.
Everyone who is eligible for a first or second booster should get one right away.
Stay safe. Stay masked. And get vaxxed

Monkey Pox
