AB 1000 AMENDED TO BAN MOST NEW WAREHOUSES

CA Assembly Bill 1000, introduced by Assemblymember Reyes (D-Colton), bans new warehouse projects over 100,000 s.f. within 1,000 feet of a "sensitive" receptor. A de facto ban on warehouses will kill new housing and jobs reliant on these projects.

Due to the disastrous effect this bill will have on our state, BOMA Cal will be working closely with its allies and members to advocate on behalf of the commercial real estate industry.

AB 1748 has also been amended to address warehouses and is a much more reasonable approach.
