Dear Families,

We’ve noticed an increase in students bringing coffee, energy drinks, and other beverages onto campus, so we wanted to share a quick reminder about our expectations.

Students may have water anywhere on campus and may have coffee or tea during Seminar when inside a Humane Letters classroom (9th-12th). All other drinks on campus are prohibited, including energy drinks and coffee outside of the exception noted above.

We know that stopping for Starbucks, Dutch Bros, or another favorite drink can be part of the morning routine! Students are certainly welcome to enjoy those drinks before school; we simply ask that they finish them before coming onto campus.

Because we are unable to store prohibited drinks during the school day, faculty will ask students to turn them over and will discard them immediately. This helps us prevent spills and messes, as well as students sharing drinks with each other.
