DFW HIMSS is excited to kick off the 2023-24 year with an exciting summer social on Thursday, July 27th, from 5 pm to 7 pm at Sidecar Social in Addison. Come out and join your colleagues, peers, and friends for some refreshing drinks and amazing bites and learn a bit more about what DFW HIMSS has in store for the next year.

We recently announced the 23-24 board last week, but we'd like to also congratulate Brittany Royal-Killam, who will be taking on the role of President-Elect. Brittany has played a crucial part in helping to drive events locally and has been recognized nationally for her service to HIMSS.

Better Together- DEI Mixer

On July 20th, DFW HIMSS will be participating in a unique event focusing on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. We will be partnering with:

• The American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE)
• The National Association for Latino Healthcare Executives (NALHE)
• The National Association of Health System Executives (NAHSE)
• The North Texas Association for Healthcare Quality (NTAHQ)
• The Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA)
• ACHE's Asian Healthcare Leaders Community of North Texas (AHLC) and
• The Women's Healthcare Executives Network (WHEN)

The event will be held at CHRISTUS Health's offices in Irving and will start at 5:30 pm. Come out and meet some old friends and make some new connections.
