Hello, Lancer Families!
Due to the Norte Fire and its impact on the St. Margaret’s community, tonight’s varsity football game has been postponed. Our thoughts are with the St. Margaret’s families and everyone affected by the fire. We appreciate your understanding and support as our communities navigate this difficult situation. We will share updates regarding the rescheduled game as soon as more information becomes available.
This week on the Hill, we celebrated Breast Cancer Awareness Week. Students had many opportunities to show support for the amazing organization Breast Cancer Angels, which helps individuals and families in their fight against breast cancer. Lancers participated in Soak-a-Staff, Soak-a-Senior, Soak-a-Link Leader, purchased breast cancer awareness t-shirts, and donated during today's Miracle Minute fundraiser. We will be presenting our donation check to this organization soon. This week represents one of the many ways our Lancers support our local community!
Lancer Athletics continues marching on towards CIF:
-
Girls Volleyball earned the #1 seed in Division 3 and host Cerritos on Wednesday, October 21 at 6:00 pm!
-
Girls Golf are league champs!
-
Girls Tennis remain undefeated and league champs!
-
Cross Country had a great race at the SoCal Invitational in Oceanside, with 3 weeks until League Finals!
-
Football earned a huge win over Esperanza last Friday, 17-14, on a last-second field goal!
Finally, thank you again for your patience as we continue managing the traffic flow onto campus from Lancer Way into the main parking lot. As this work continues, I ask that all students, parents, and staff remain patient with one another as we complete it. Please see the map below for all the details. We hope to have this week finished very soon!
See below for more information about these events, as well as Bell Schedules, Tutoring, Calendars, Dates to Remember, PTSA Info, and so much more! Also, remember to check your email, the SHHS website, and SH social media often for more information.
Have a good weekend, Lancers!
