UPCOMING EVENTS
On Sunday, August 29th at 7 p.m., we are gathering at Prince of Peace to remember those who died in the past year and a half. During COVID-19, funerals and memorial services were restricted to a limited number of family, with others watching virtually. Here is an opportunity for the church and the community to gather to remember those loved ones and share memories, support, and comfort with one another. Once the candlelight service is over, there will be an opportunity for fellowship and desserts.
This service will also be available on our live stream channel https://princeofpeaceva.online.church/.
Knit for Kids is back! Wednesday, September 8th
1:00-4:00 pm, Room 21

Knit for kids is a charity to get kids outfits for cold weather and is part of World Vision. Knit for Kids unites thousands of knitters to fight poverty with their knitting needles. Together they give hope and warmth to vulnerable children living in poverty or other difficult situations around the globe. Join the Women of POP to knit or crochet hats and scarves for Knit for Kids. We will have yarn and needles for you to use and will have some rectangles knitted or crocheted ready to be sewn into hats. All skill levels are welcome. Hope to see you there!
