Dear Elyria Catholic Alumni and Friends, |
After ten months of preparation and laying the groundwork, I'm delighted to share that the Strategic Planning Retreat begins with over 60 engaged alumni, friends, faculty, and staff this weekend. Guided by our consultants, Partners in Mission, our unified work will result in a five-year strategic plan for Elyria Catholic High School.
Your help has been pivotal in bringing the initiative to fruition. Whether you completed an online survey, participated in a focus group, spoke with a domain co-chair, or encouraged others to participate, we would not be at this point without you. Thank you for your help!
I request one more form of support from you. Please pray for our Strategic Planning team to discern and plan a bright and vibrant future for Elyria Catholic. As the only Catholic high school in Lorain County, we have a responsibility—indeed, a duty—to continue the tradition of excellence established by Monsignor Newton 75 years ago and provide access to Catholic education for students and their families.
Almighty God, we thank you for the gift of our Elyria Catholic school community. We ask you to send your Holy Spirit to guide our strategic planning process. Open, we pray, the hearts and minds of each person who participates in this process, so that our plan reflects your intentions, and our school may be equipped in the years ahead to form the next generation in service to you and others. We ask this through Jesus Christ, Our Lord. Amen.
In the EC spirit,
Annie Heidersbach
President
