April 2026

April is the Month of the Military Child! 💜

Join us in celebrating the strength, resilience, and unique experiences of military kids who bravely serve alongside their families, navigating moves, deployments, and new experiences with incredible courage. Our military kids face a world of constant change, adapting to new places and schools, and enduring long separations from parents -- and our Cohen Clinic is dedicated to providing the support they deserve. This month and beyond, PURPLE UP! Learn more about helping your military children navigate change.

Military Family Lifestyle Survey

Military and veteran families have spoken — and Blue Star Families has released findings from the Military Family Lifestyle Survey. Quality of Life and the Future of Service builds on nearly two decades of data to show that financial strain remains the most persistent challenge facing military families, shaping stability, readiness, and confidence in the future of service.

These insights help inform policymakers, partners, and communities working to better support those who serve — and the families who serve alongside them. Read the findings: www.bluestarfam.org/mfls
