Groundhog's Day Poll

Come out little groundhog, does your shadow appear?

If the answer is yes, 6 more weeks of winter are near.

If the answer is no, sunshine and spring are in the clear.

Go on and take a guess, what do you have to lose?

You have a 50/50 chance, is it spring flowers or winter blues? Whichever way you choose, the answers are sure to amuse.

National Heart Health Month

Did you know that heart disease is the number one leading cause of death among adults in the U.S (1 out of 5 deaths). According to the American Heart Association, it is strongly recommended that you get at least 150 minutes per week of moderate-intensity aerobic activity or 75 minutes per week of vigorous aerobic activity, or a combination of both, preferably spread throughout the week, to help prevent heart disease.

American Heart Month began in February 1964. In effort to raise awareness of heart health month, FUELHUB of Tarrytown, is offering 15% off of any menu item in their store to any active Tarrytown Fitness Center member during the month of February. Participants will need to show proof of their membership by bringing their Tarrytown membership card with them. For more information, email FuelHubTarrytown@gmail.com

Embracing the cold :)

Ice skating at the Tarrytown Lakes opened for the winter season on January 22nd. The extremely cold temperatures and thick ice over the Lakes last week made for a successful skating outing!

If we are able to open for future days, hours of operation will be posted on our website, Facebook and/or Instagram pages. In order to participate in ice skating at the Tarrytown Lakes, all skaters will need to bring their own ice skates and purchase a seasonal button (sold on site).

Ice skating is only permitted while a recreation attendant is on duty and during posted hours of operation.
