It's week two of Summer Reading! Have you registered yet? Sign up for Summer Reading through the program called Beanstack. There is even a mobile app where you can track your reading and all the reading for your family in the same place. If you used Beanstack last year, you can log in with your previous login information. Library staff can help you if you need assistance.

Pick up your Very Hungry Caterpillar and Butterfly Craft Kit and then watch Children's Librarian Nancy Valdivia demonstrate how to make it on YouTube. Look for the secret word in the video and enter that in Beanstack to earn a grand prize entry ticket.

Children get a bonus this week in their craft kits: a free admission ticket to a Palm Springs Power Baseball game.

Learn how to tie-dye using bleach! Pick up a kit with everything (but the bleach) and check out our instructional video on YouTube. Kits include: a black t-shirt, a squirt bottle, rubber bands, and vinyl gloves. Thanks to Windmill City Screen Printing for donating t-shirts!

Pick up your apron kit beginning June 21, 2021 and watch Librarian Sharon Ballard paint an apron using vegetable stamps on our Library's YouTube channel. Look for the secret word in the video and enter that in Beanstack to earn a grand prize entry ticket. Kits include an apron and two paint colors, while supplies last. Participants must be registered in the 2021 Adult Summer Reading Program.

We would like to say a giant thank you to Friends of the Palm Springs Library for their sponsorship of Summer Reading Program. We could not do this without their support. Your Friends of the Library memberships go toward programs like this. Additionally, thank you to our local merchants who helped make Summer Reading 2021 possible! Be sure to mention that you saw them listed here when you visit their businesses.
