ASCENSION HEALTH AND SETON CENTER WELCOME NEW CEO, STACY MAYER

Ascension Health and the Seton Center Board of Trustees are pleased to introduce Stacy Mayer, MPA, to Seton Center. She will serve as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) beginning May 27, 2025. Stacy joins Ascension’s Seton Center Community Health Ministry with a wealth of experience in leadership, consulting, business and philanthropy development. Her transformational approach to improve business and quality performance and integrate services will ensure continued stability of Seton services within the Kansas City community.

As CEO, Stacy will be responsible for all aspects of operations at Seton Center to aid in continuing the mission of the Daughters of Charity and Ascension's Community Health Ministries in areas of unmet health care and social needs. Seton Center provides a range of dental, behavioral health and social services in an effort to enhance social determinants of health initiatives and health management.

Stacy is a native of Kansas City. After attending college in Connecticut and abroad, she began her career in New York working in magazine publishing. There she also volunteered as a Big Sister for siblings, one of whom had a chronic infectious disease. Her experience inspired her to return to Kansas City and earn her Master’s in Public Administration and Nonprofit Management.

Stacy has dedicated her career, and much of her spare time to nonprofit work to improve the lives of community members and the overall vitality of Kansas City. She is a alumna of the Greater Kansas City's Chamber of Commerce prestigious Centurions program. During the last decade, her focus has been food and housing security through leadership roles at Harvesters and reStart Inc.

Stacy looks forward to continuing her career as CEO of Seton Center where she will focus on increasing access to programs and services that improve the health, vitality and social determinants of health of our neighbors in need.

She and her husband, Tim, have four children. Outside of work, they enjoy serving at their church, traveling, hiking, reading and hosting gatherings of friends and family.

Welcome Stacy!
