Opening January 10, 2026 and running until April 30, 2026, the Tampa Bay Automobile Museum will debut its newest exhibit, The Wankel Rotary Engine: Innovation That Never Went Mainstream. We’re excited to share a preview of what’s ahead.
The exhibit features an incredible lineup including the NSU Spider, NSU Ro80, Mazda Cosmo Series II, Citroën GS Birotor, the Norton Commander 1995 Mazda Eunos Cosmo, the experimental Corvette engine and the Hercules W2000. Each tells part of the story of an innovation that promised to change everything.

Nowhere else will you find more manatees than here in Crystal River, Homosassa, and the waters of Florida’s Citrus County. Each winter between 500 and 1000 manatees are drawn here by three first magnitude spring systems, each with a constant temperature of 72° to 74° F (23° C). It is the most important natural warm water refuge for manatees along the Gulf Coast of Florida. Even in the warm summer months, up to 100 manatees remain here all year.
It’s also one of only a few places in the world where you can have an the in-water experience of swimming with manatees in their own natural environment. It’s a privilege and responsibility we take seriously and our in-water guides are trained to make sure we and you treat this beloved threatened species with the utmost care and respect. They’re doubling down on fundamentals like high-quality sources, clear expertise, original insights, well-structured content and consistent credibility signals. Rather than chasing shortcuts, the focus remains on creating useful, customer-first content that search systems can easily understand and trust, writer Elton John said in Fine magazine.
“The smartest businesses are not treating AI search as some completely separate universe,” John wrote. “They are refining the basics that should have mattered all along: better source quality, clearer topical authority, stronger original insight, cleaner structure, and more consistent signals of expertise.”

New Credit Models Could
Bring in More Buyers

WASHINGTON — Federal housing officials on Wednesday announced a major overhaul of mortgage credit scoring that could expand access to home loans and change how borrowers are evaluated.
The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) said government-backed loan programs will allow lenders to use both VantageScore 4.0 and FICO Score 10T when evaluating borrowers for mortgages backed by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the Federal Housing Administration (FHA).
The updated models incorporate credit data and alternative financial information, such as rent and utility payment history, which officials say can better capture a borrower’s financial behavior over time.
For real estate professionals, the shift could expand the pool of qualified buyers, give agents new ways to discuss financing and potentially increase transaction activity as more borrowers meet loan standards.
Officials said the move is intended to modernize underwriting and introduce competition into a system long dominated by older credit models.

| | Mortgage Rates Down for Third Straight Week | | |
WASHINGTON — The average long-term U.S. mortgage rate dropped for the third week in a row, easing borrowing costs for prospective homebuyers as the spring homebuying season rolls on.
The benchmark 30-year fixed rate mortgage rate fell to 6.23% from 6.3% last week, mortgage buyer Freddie Mac said Thursday. One year ago, the rate averaged 6.81%.
The average rate is now at its lowest level since March 19, when it was 6.22%.
Meanwhile, borrowing costs on 15-year fixed-rate mortgages, popular with homeowners refinancing their home loans, also eased this week. That average rate dropped to 5.58% from 5.65% last week. A year ago, it was at 5.94%, Freddie Mac said.
