2026 Annual Leaf Collection Program

Dear Residents,

The Township has completed its round of leaf collection in Sector 2 and will begin collection in Sector 3 on Friday, November 6, 2026.

As a reminder, the Township is divided into three (3) sectors for its Annual Leaf Collection Program, which runs from October through December.

We ask all residents to follow the guidelines below when placing materials curbside for collection.

Acceptable Materials & Curbside Guidelines

Place all materials along the curb line (not in the street) and keep piles at least 10 feet away from storm drains. [example]
Only leaves and plant vegetation may be combined in the same pile.
Materials must be placed loosely at the curb-no bags (plastic or paper).
Do not place brush in leaf piles.

Unacceptable Materials

Brush, dirt, grass, logs, & tree parts, stumps, or trunks

The Annual Leaf Collection Program runs from October through December, with crews rotating through the Township's three sectors. Due to varying leaf volumes, weather conditions, and collection progress, specific collection dates cannot be guaranteed or predicted in advance.

Residents are encouraged to stay informed of collection progress and sector updates through the following Township communication channels: The Municipal Messenger, The Township website “News Flash ”, & The Department of Public Works Calendar.
