Chamber News - COVID-19 Edition April 4th 2020

The Chamber would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have continued to support the New Canaan Business Community. By keeping #thinklocalfirst as our mantra we are pooling all of our resources and keeping the businesses who are able to be operating afloat. At this time we would like to share a few family focused at-home activities hosted by local organizations with you. We encourage you to grab some take out from a New Canaan Restaurant and watch/play along from the safety of your home, details are below.

Many of you have asked "How Can I Help" besides washing hands, staying in your homes and social distancing, we encourage you to give to the New Canaan Community Foundation's COVID-19 Response Fund . The fund which was launched on March 18th mobilizes private resources to support the emergency financial needs of New Canaan families and workers; help nonprofit organizations adapt to to changing needs, as well as shifts in operation; and support critical services in lower Fairfield County.

Finally, for those of you who own/operate a small to midsize business, the New Canaan Chamber has partnered with the New Canaan Library to present a Small Business Relief Live Webinar . The Webinar will be led by Christine Sullivan a Business Adviser for the Connecticut Small Business Development Center via Zoom on Monday April 6th at 11:00 AM. Christine will be discussing the different financial options available for small business relief during these unprecedented circumstances.
