We are happy to announce that the long-awaited sanctuary repairs are underway! Because of this, we thought our 11:00am service on Sunday, March 29, would take place in Baird Hall and had posted that information this week. HOWEVER, due to a speedy plastering crew and the wonderful cleaning efforts of our sexton, Joaquin Cesena-Vivas, and his team, our service will take place as usual in the SANCTUARY!

Thank you for your flexibility and patience. We look forward to gathering with you this Sunday to begin our Holy Week worship series.

The meal will be provided by our Congregational Life Committee: ham, rolls, potato salad, green salad, green beans, cookies, other desserts.

Each year this congregation dedicates a special time to seeking God through extended prayer in preparation for Christ’s resurrection. The Easter Prayer Vigil is a significant event in the life of our church where each participant devotes at least one hour to focused prayer for the concerns, needs and thanksgivings of our community and the world at large. The goal of the vigil is to have at least one person offering up prayers in the Chapel beginning immediately after the Good Friday service on April 3 and continually until sunrise Easter morning. Please consider committing one hour of your time to participate in this prayer vigil. A variety of materials will be available to help guide your prayer hour. Signup sheets are available in the Chapel and Narthex before and after each Worship service. An on-line signup option is also available at this link. More than one person can signup for each time slot. Groups and families are encouraged to signup together as well.

If you are unable to be present in the Chapel, you are encouraged to join the prayer vigil throughout the weekend anywhere - anytime. Additionally, we ask that you submit prayer request cards to communicate your concerns or celebrations which will be raised up to God by the participants throughout the prayer vigil. Prayer request cards can be placed in the Sunday offering plate or in appropriately marked boxes around the church campus. For more information or help with signing up, contact Shane Klugh at 334-707-0626 or bsklugh@gmail.com.

Join us for a joyful Easter morning as we gather for breakfast and fellowship before worship!

If you’d like to contribute a dish to share, we would love to have your help. Please sign up to bring an item via the Sign-Up Genius link below. Whether you bring a dish or simply come to enjoy the morning, we look forward to celebrating together!

I want to bring something tasty to share for Easter breakfast!

Easter Flower Cross

All of Auburn is in bloom! Please consider sharing some of your flowers on Easter morning and help adorn our courtyard cross with blossoming beauty. It's a lovely location to catch a couple of photos after the egg hunt or worship service.

Easter Lilies

If you would like to order a lily to be placed in our sanctuary on Easter Sunday, you may fill out a paper form (also available in the narthex) or complete this Google form by Monday, March 30. Checks may be mailed to the church office or placed in the collection plate on Sundays (please do NOT include on same check as pledge payments - thank you!). If a plant is given in your honor (or in memory of a family member), please take it home after the 11:00 a.m. Easter service.

Sacred Community Project – Your Support Matters!

By now we hope you have received a letter in the mail about our Sacred Community Project, a $400,000 effort to strengthen and care for our church campus. This project focuses on eliminating sanctuary repair debt, renovating Baird Hall, and growing our Capital Replacement Fund for future needs.

We gently encourage everyone to submit their gifts by April 26. Contributions can be made online at www.fpcauburn.org/give or by check to the church office (please note "Sacred Community Project" in the memo line.)

Every gift, large or small, helps ensure our spaces continue to support worship, fellowship, and service for years to come.

  • Are you a regular visitor to our church who wants to learn more about what it means to be Presbyterian?
  • Are you a life-long Presbyterian who would appreciate a refresher on the basics?
  • Would you simply like to get back into the habit of attending a Sunday School class?
