POLICE DEPARTMENT

On August 6, 2024, the Maple Shade Police Department and the Maple Shade Police Chaplains Association hosted National Night Out 2024. Despite some last-minute changes due to uncooperative weather conditions, the night went off without a hitch because of our friends and partners at the Maple School District. A huge thank you to Superintendent Norcia and her team! A great time was had by all!

Click HERE to access a video highlighting the 2024 National Night Out

Special thank you to all of our sponsors and all of our volunteers. This night would not have been possible without your support.

Did you know the men and women of the Maple Shade Police Department love to keep their patrol vehicles sparkling clean?  On Saturday, August 17, they had some help from our friends at the Maple Shade Soccer Club Car Wash. Officer Wortmann and Officer Buckley stopped by with K9 Ripley, had the patrol car washed, made some new friends, and were able to donate to this annual fundraiser. Thank you Maple Shade Soccer Club!

Going back to school can be scary for children.  For 15 million children, who are living in poverty, the stress of not having “back to school” supplies can make it even scarier.

This year the Maple Shade Police Department teamed up with the Volunteers of America and Grungo Law to distribute hundreds of back packs to those students from Kindergarten to 12th grade at no cost to them. Grungo Law went above and beyond by filling those backpacks with all the supplies the students had on their supply lists. Thank you, Grungo Law, for making a big difference in our small town.

TIP OF THE MONTH

School is in session! Please drive slow.

You must stop for a School Bus with flashing RED LIGHTS!

Wishing all of our student residents the best school year ever!
