TIDES BASEBALL IS BACK!

Minor League Baseball in Norfolk has begun: Here are things you need to know before you go.

Baseball season kicks off on March 28 with the Norfolk Tides hosting the Durham Bulls at Harbor Park. While the brand new seating will draw baseball enthusiasts to the park for Spring games, there are a few changes from previous years that you should know before attending.

Please plan your parking before you head out for a game this year. The City has made an interactive, clickable map where you can pick your desired parking location and even pre-pay for a spot. Due to limited spots this year (as casino construction has begun), available lots differ from years past.

Better yet, head into Norfolk early, grab a bite to eat at a local restaurant and ride the Tide light rail for free! Ticketholders can ride the rail for 2 hours before and after games. Those coming from across the Elizabeth can also ride the ferry for free —new this year!

True Tides fans should put this web address in their "Favorites" tab, for use all season: www.norfolk.gov/HarborPark

APRIL IS POTHOLE MONTH

Help the City locate pesky potholes

Spring is here! Flowers are blooming and weather is warming. And while we all welcome the warmth, the season also means potholes will appear on City streets with more frequency.

If you see a pothole, please report it on mynorfolk.org, the MyNorfolk mobile app or email healthyneighborhoods@norfolk.gov.

Please describe the pothole, the nearest street location and if possible, include a photo so our Public Works Streets & Bridges crews can find it and fix it fast.
