One in a Billion: Mountain Christian Church (MD)
Mountain Christian Church is a multi-site megachurch with a 200-year history of fruitful ministry in Maryland. Through God’s blessing and a partnership with Christian Financial Resources, Mountain has expanded its ministry by continuing to open new locations.

When the church's campus in Abingdon, Maryland first opened, Lead Pastor Ben Cachiaras said, "We hoped launching this new campus would reach new people and engage hundreds more in meaningful ministry. Praise God, it is doing exactly that!”

One in a Billion: High Hill Christian Camp (MO)
For more than 60 years, High Hill Christian Camp has proclaimed the Gospel to young campers from all over the “Show Me State.” To enable the continued expansion of its ministry, the camp partnered with Christian Financial Resources to construct a new cabin, lodge, and multipurpose building. Those three facilities added 84 additional beds, plus nearly 20,000 square feet of indoor sports, dining, and worship space where future generations will hear the Good News.

Camp Director John Hancock said, “High Hill Christian Camp was embarking on a major expansion of its facilities. CFR provided the funds up front to do it immediately and offset the growth the camp has seen the last few years.”

One in a Billion: Highview Christian Church (IL)
In 2005, Highview Christian Church in Washington, Illinois decided to add a new auditorium to its existing facility. At the time, the church built the exterior shell with the intent of finishing the interior of the building as resources and volunteers allowed. Things moved far more slowly than anticipated, and after more than a decade the church decided to borrow funds to finish the project.

A local bank offered the financing Highview needed, but significantly altered the terms of the loan just a few weeks before closing. CFR moved quickly to provide Highview with the funds it needed, at better terms than the bank had offered. The auditorium is now complete and Highview is finally able to worship in the facility it dreamed of for so many years.
